HAVANA, September 17, 2006, (WAFA - PLO News Agency)- The Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Summit reiterated that Jerusalem belongs to the Palestinian territory occupied by Israel in 1967. [Over your dead bodies, muzbots]
In its Final Declaration of the 14th Summit, in Havana, NAM supported the UN resolutions confirming Jerusalem belongs to the occupied Palestinian territory.
The document terms null measures to change character, political and demographic condition of that sacred city.
Four resolutions by the UN Security Council and one of the General Assembly allude the issue, and they are ignored by the Israeli government.
The text's political part tackles nine sections to the Palestinian cause, one of the most concerning topics due to the intensified hardships of the Palestinian people as of the Legislative Council elections in January, 2006.
