Hudna is the first word used in Muslim history to mean cease-fire, specifically in the context of the seventh century Truce of al-Hudaybiyya. Named after a village outside Mecca, the truce came six years after Muhammad and his followers abandoned Mecca for Yathrib, today's Medina. This move set a pattern of retreat followed by regrouping and rearming, which permits an attack on the territory previously left behind. Muhammad and the rulers of Mecca negotiated a truce, the essence of which was to permit the Muslims to return unarmed on pilgrimage each year for the next decade. It came to an end two years later, however, when Muhammad entered Mecca with a small, armed force and took the city peacefully. Hudna, in other words, amounted to a temporary truce.

For Muslims, the challenge is to move from a worldview that sees all other religions and all non-Muslim people as inferior, Satanic, ignorant, and subject to Muslim conquest to one that coheres more closely with modern thinking, where religious hatred is increasingly relegated to the history books. The extent of Islamic terrorism, and the gulf between Islamic thinking on human rights and the norms of the original Declaration of Human Rights, justify concentration on Islamic intolerance as a special problem.

The Myth of Palestinian Moderation

It is the myth of Palestinian moderation, and US and Israeli leaders continue to buy into it. They embrace Mahmoud Abbas as a reasonable person, and base their policy on the belief that most Palestinians abhor violence and terror. Muslim barbarian kills 8 innocent Israelis and maims several others

In the worst terror attack against innocent Israelis since 2006, a palestinian Muslim terrorist opened fire at a central Jerusalem yeshiva late Thursday night, killing at least eight students and wounding 10 others. As security forces raced to the scene, the Muslim fired round after round of ammunition into the library at the seminary, religious Zionism's flagship institution. About 80 students had gathered in the library to celebrate the Hebrew month of Adar II, which begins on Friday evening. Now, 10 Israelis are dead, and the detestable palestinian muzbots in Gaza are celebrating. It's amazing how much money and time and effort the world spends on the fraudulent palestinianppeepull. Why is that? They are a petri dish of petulant, pathological, gutless assassins. The Arabs of Jordan, Syria, Egypt and Saudi Arabia want the palestinianpeepull in a constant state of agitation so that they can attack Israel. If the palestinianpeepull wanted peace or security or prosperity, they could have had it many times over by now. But now? Now, they sealed their own fate. They wanted war, now they're going to get war. They wanted war, now they are going to pay the consequences. It is not the job of the Israelis to destroy THEIR own state in order to accomodate palestinian barbarians. It is ludicrous to impose a peace on a barbaric backward people who don't want it.

Meanwhile the Egyptians have started building a wall to protect themselves against the animals in Gaza. As JammieWearingFool writes, when the Israelis built a security wall to prevent terrorists from entering Israel and slaughtering the Jews, there were cries of outrage and "apartheid", but now that Egypt is doing it, there is silence from the global community, and therefore, tacit approval.

It's sickening that the civilized world has to endure the trumped-up concoction of superstitions and deceit which is Islam, merely because the world was cursed by having its main energy source located under the feet of muslim savages.

Fatah, Hamas Trade Blame for Blackout

More proof that the Gaza blackout is just another Muslim Hamas deception. Via IsraelNN:

Fatah officials accused Hamas of causing a blackout in Gaza on Sunday, saying the group had caused the fuel shortages that led it to shut down Gaza’s only power plant. Hamas leaders steal the fuel coming into Gaza and use it in their own cars and houses, one official explained. Another expressed hope that the power shortage would lead residents of Gaza to get rid of Hamas.

Hamas accused Fatah of working with Israel to overthrow Hamas and retake control of Gaza. Hamas has blamed Israel for the blackout, despite the fact that Israel continues to supply approximately 70 percent of Gaza’s normal flow of electricity.
