But a second image released by the PR arm of the Revolutionary Guard seems to have digitally wiped away the embarrassing dud, replacing it with a fourth successful launch, complete with billowing clouds of exhaust and desert dust.

Mark Fitzpatrick, Senior Fellow at the International Institute of Strategic Studies, said, "It's ironic - Iran launches these missile tests to demonstrate might, and instead what they demonstrate is foolishness."

Bush Offered Palestinians a State; They Said No

That's right, folks, Muslims being the ethnocentric snobs that they are, said no to a state in 1937, when Britain under the Mandate offered the Peel Commission plan. They said no in 1947, when the UN proposed the establishment of two states in the region, one Jewish, one Arab. They said no in 1948, when Israel's Proclamation of Independence invited the Palestinians to remain in their homes and become equal citizens in the new state. They said no in 1967, when Israel offered to return all the territories conquered in return for peace. They said no in 1978-9, when Israel offered the acceptance of Palestinian autonomy in exchange for peace at Camp David I. They said no in 1993, when Arafat signed the Oslo accords, promising to renounce terrorism and recognize Israel, and then declared on Jordanian television that he had taken the first step "in the 1974 plan" (which was a thinly veiled reference to the "phased plan" according to which any territorial gain was acceptable as a means toward the ultimate goal of Israel's destruction). Muslims said no to a state in 2000, at Camp David II when Israel accepted the Clinton Plan but where the Palestinians did not. Muslims said no in 2001, when Israel's PM Ehud Barak offered Yasser Arafat eastern Jerusalem, 97% of the "West Bank" and 3% compensation from Israel's territory, in addition to all of Gaza (the Taba Negotiation).

Arafat - the pig born in Egypt - turned down a state without so much as a counteroffer.

Six years ago, on June 24, 2002, President Bush announced that the U.S. would support the creation of a Palestinian state. His only condition was that Palestinians first choose "leaders not compromised by terror." He asked also that they "confront corruption," and "build a practicing democracy based on tolerance and liberty."

In 2006, elections were held in Gaza and the West Bank. Hamas, a terrorist organization, declared itself a political party and won. In 2007, Hamas launched a wave of violence against rival Fatah security forces. Since then, Hamas has been unchallenged in Gaza and no one talks of new elections or civil rights.
Nor has Hamas attempted to build an economic base. Instead, it turned to Iran's rulers for money and guidance - and then complained that Palestinians were living in squalor because they weren't receiving sufficient funds from the U.S. and Europe.

Hamas rains missiles on Israeli towns, sends terrorists into Israel on killing and kidnapping missions, and assigns suicide-bombers to blow up the few border crossings with Israel. Then Hamas complains that Israel is not delivering as much food, medicine, gasoline, and electricity as Palestinians require.
President Bush believed that Palestinians wanted a state to call their own - and that they wanted that more than they wanted the destruction of the Jewish state next door. In 2002 Bush said: "If liberty can blossom in the rocky soil of the West Bank and Gaza, it will inspire millions of men and women around the globe....This moment is...a test to show who is serious about peace and who is not."

He was right. It was a test. And now it's time to be candid about the results. Israelis, Americans, and Europeans are serious about peace. The enemies of Israelis, Americans, and European are serious about defeating Israelis, Americans, and Europeans.

OIC to declare a "memorial day" for massacres against Muslims

Creating policy via temper tantrum allows the west to forget about the more than 11,000 innocent people who have been murdered by Muslims since 9/11. From Today's Zaman:

Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) member countries plan to declare a day of memorial for massacres and genocide committed against Muslim communities in various countries throughout the 20th century.

On Friday, representatives of OIC youth organizations came together at İstanbul's Grand Cevahir Hotel for a meeting organized by the Islamic Conference Youth Forum for Dialogue and Cooperation (ICYF-DC) to discuss programs to create awareness of Muslim grievances over the past within the younger generation and foster solidarity among OIC members.

"OIC countries are being confronted by different Islamophobic groups that have developed a plethora of myths of so-called historic violence Muslim countries [perpetrated] against others. That is a conscious strategy to create an image of Muslim peoples as ruthless and Islam as a culture of violence.

Review of PA articles - one month after killing of Mughniyeh, by Itamar Marcus and Barbara Crook:
Senior Hezbollah terrorist Imad Mughniyeh has been placed on a pedestal of glory in various articles in the official Palestinian Authority Fatah daily. Western countries have expressed virtually unanimous relief that the terrorist, wanted by 42 countries and on the FBI's most wanted list, was killed by a car bomb in Damascus on February 12, 2008. The Palestinian Authority, on the other hand, has been using the media under its control to mourn his death.

One article by a senior Fatah leader describes Mughniyeh as an "extraordinary hero... unequaled Hezbollah commander ... a beacon of light." His killing is called a "murder in broad daylight... a tragedy that has hurt every Lebanese, every Palestinian, every Arab, and every free man on the face of this earth." The revenge for his death will be more terror and eventually Israel's destruction.

So wrote Fatah leader Ahmad Dahbur, until recently the undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, in Al Hayat Al Jadida, the official PA daily controlled by Mahmoud Abbas's Fatah faction. His article, along with others paying lavish tribute to the dead terrorist, makes no mention of the fact that Mughniyeh was responsible for the murders of hundreds of civilians and soldiers in worldwide terror attacks. Among his many international terror attacks, Mughniyeh was responsible for the killing of 241 American soldiers of the peacekeeping force in Lebanon in 1983.

The Palestinian Authority has glorified his years of murder as heroic. It describes him repeatedly as a "Shahid" (Islamic Martyr), the highest Islamic status, and has run his photo with that caption. He is crowned the "Knight of Lebanese Resistance."

The PA newspaper, assuming it was Israel who killed him (Israel has denied involvement in the killing), refers to Israel as "the treacherous Zionist enemy," reiterates the PA's "rage and hatred" for Israel and promises more "resistance the PA euphemism for terror) ... the blow which will hand over death."

In another article, the daily describes how a lawyers' association in Gaza mourned his death, and called his killing "a crime of organized state terror."

The PA daily also published a letter to Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah from Samir Kuntar, a Lebanese terrorist serving four life sentences in an Israeli prison for the murders of four Israelis, including a four-year-old girl whose skull he crushed with rocks and a rifle butt. The unrepentant Kuntar likewise glorifies his fellow terrorist Mughnyeh as one member of the "distinguished, glamorous convoys" of Shahids, and vows to follow in his footsteps.

Finally, a military wing of Fatah - the Ahmad Abu Al Rish Martyrs Brigades - has already carried out a terror attack in his honor.

1- Hajj Radwan [Imad Mugniyeh] by Ahmad Dahbur, former undersecretary of the Palestinian Authority Ministry of Culture, senior journalist for Fatah controlled Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, in his daily column.

"The treacherous Zionist enemy will never permit us to lessen our revenge towards him, or to stray from our confrontation against him, until he is wiped off this land, which is saturated with the blood of the Shahids (Islamic Martyrs). And what is the fall of the Knight of Lebanese Resistance, Hajj Imad Mugniyeh, if not one of the signs of the nation's Jihad - persistent and definitely unstoppable till the Zionist Project [Israel] will be defeated.

Did I say 'Lebanese resistance'? Certainly I did, and entirely with praise and pride. The history of Hajj Radwan - Imad Mugniyeh - will testify to this; a history which is part of the history of the Palestinian-Lebanese resistance. From the time he joined Fatah as a youth, and till he later became a unequalled Hezbollah commander, when his name became a beacon of light shining from The Lebanese July Victory [Second Lebanon War, 2006].

Hajj Radwan deserves all glory and praise for evoking confusion and alarm among the Zionists, whether he be alive or a Shahid [i.e, Islamic Martyr]. Such an extraordinary hero can cause the enemy to loose its wits. Evidence of this is that Olmert directly threatens to eliminate the leaders of the Palestinian and Lebanese resistance, and the Mossad commits a murder in broad daylight, while at the same time confused and conflicting Hebrew press releases declare that Olmert disassociates himself from the crime, for fear of the inevitable retaliation ... but also publish [Israeli MKs] Dani Yatom, Ephraim Sneh, and Arieh Eldad's gloating congratulatory messages to the Mossad which are drenched with poison.

It makes no difference whether the Zionist bat camouflages himself by hiding in the dark, or whether the crazy hyenas take pride in the crime, because the enemy announces his criminal presence with such language that it is as if he is caught with a smoking gun. The criminal's hands are still covered in blood, when he gives us more reasons to intensify our hate towards him, though we do not lack reasons for this [hate] in the first place. ...In the presence of the Shahada [Martyrdom] and blood which prevails over the Phantom [jet] and the Merkava [Israeli tank], our souls seek ... to stand at the head of the ranks when they offer their condolences to the Lebanese resistance movement lead by Hezbollah. Along with [Hezbollah Leader] Sheik Hassan Nasrallah, we will ask ourselves who is the one consoling and who is the one being consoled as this is a tragedy that has hurt every Lebanese, every Palestinian, every Arab, and every free man on the face of this earth. This is because every free man partakes in Hajj Radwan's (Mugniyeh's) glory...

Indeed the thing that consoles [us] is what we hear of the Mujahideen's [Jihad fighter's] pledge to the combatant Shahid [martyr], that they will avenge his blood... not out of a desire to die but out of an understanding of the meaning of resistance [terror], as either victory or Istishhad [Death as a Shahid].

If there is any reason to give the enemy [Israel] advice, we advise the pack of hyenas not to rejoice, because in war - the scale tips at times to one side and at times to the other. They are treacherous and they will retreat, and the resistance will retaliate and prevail.

An abundance of mercy is due to the Shahid - Hajj Rudwan Imad Mugniyeh. May his blood serve as the ink for a new document of fraternity, which will unite the Jihad's fighters, as they all join to escort one of their most noble symbols to his burial... The companions of the Shahid, his relatives and acquaintances, will be blessed with this radiant decoration which he has been honored with today, and with it he has become a crown for Arab Lebanon, precious, exalted and Jihad Fighter. And from Lebanon to all the Arabs - "Hail the victory of the Mujahidun! [Jihad Fighters!]"

2 - Heading: A delegation of the Lawyers Association arrived at the house of mourning for the Shahid Imad Mugniyeh.

"A delegation of close to 30 lawyers the Islamic Association of Lawyers paid a visit to the mourning house of the outstanding military commander of the Lebanese resistance, Imad Mugniyeh, which is being overseen by the National and Islamic Forces in Gaza City. In its speech, the delegation emphasized that the murder of Mugniyeh was a crime of organized state terror, which violates all international and human conventions and rules. The delegation added that Mugniyeh's Shahada [Islamic Martyrdom] will not break the strength of the resistance but will add to its spirit of resistance against the state [Israel] which oppresses everywhere.

The spokesperson for the Islamic Association of Lawyers, Professor Ayman Abu-Aysha, said that the visit to the house of mourning for the Shahid [Islamic Martyr] Mughniyeh was done in the framework of the association in order to support all forms of resistance of struggle against the Zionist occupation in all the Arab and Islamic lands."

3 - Heading: A Letter from 'Al-Kuntar' to Nasrallah celebrating Mugniyeh's Death

"The lawyer of the prisoner Samir Kuntar has sent a letter from Kuntar [Lebanese terrorist who crushed the head of an Israeli child with his gun while murdering 4] to Hezbollah's secretary general, Hassan Nasrallah, in which he congratulates him and offers him his condolences on the death of the commander Imad Mughniyeh as a Shahid. Following is the content of the letter:

"My dear and honored commander and leader, The Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah,

Peace be unto you and our Shahids, and may Allah's mercy and blessing be upon you.

Peace be unto the men in the convoys of the righteous.

Peace be unto he who has [given and has] not taken anything other than the Shahadah (Martyrdom), the highest rank of honor before Allah.

Peace be unto the distinguished, glamorous convoys [of Shahids] who travel toward eternity, toward the men of glory, dignity and pride, toward those who have marked our path for hundreds of years.

Peace be unto the last to leave, the Hajj and the leader, Imad Mughniyeh.

Peace be unto him, as he passes the mission on to those who await his arrival, as he brings them news of the glory and victories, news of steadfastness and loyalty, news of the men of promise and sincerity, news of "those who still wait; but they have never changed (their determination) in the least. [Quote from Quran, Sura 33:23. Full quote: "Among the Believers are men who have been true to their covenant with Allah: of them some have completed their vow (to the extreme), and some (still) wait: but they have never changed (their determination) in the least:"

Peace be unto him, as he announces to the most honored among the believers that the anticipating convoys have chosen to draw their swords, and their swords are calling out: "Baseness will not reach us".

May peace be unto you, Hajj Imad. I pledge myself to you and hold myself committed to the promise that my place will only be in the frontier areas that have received your sweet effort and the blood of the most beloved men, and that I shall continue down the path, until complete victory.

Hamas Declares Victory in Gaza Fighting

Having failed to defeat Israel, the uncivilized and backward Arabian culture claims they are victorious. If victory to them means their murderous leaders have been assassinated so that Israelis may live in peace, then I, like Mark Regev, wish them many more similar victories. Following five days of combat that left at least 117 Palestinians and three Israelis dead, Hamas declared victory and held a celebratory rally in Gaza City. "I wish them many more such victories," said Mark Regev, spokesman for Israeli Prime Minister Olmert. "I have no doubt that the incursion... succeeded in hurting the Hamas military machine. I also have no illusions that it's over." Israel has accused Hamas of intentionally choosing to store and launch its rockets in heavily populated areas, turning civilians into human shields.

Paris's international book fair causes uproar by honouring Israeli writers

Israeli writers will be the toast of the Paris international book fair in March but some Arab intellectuals argue that honouring Israel's literature has brought dishonour upon France.

The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization urged its 50 member states this week to boycott the March 14-19 event.

Each year the international fair puts the spotlight on one country. This year it is inviting 39 writers from Israel, including David Grossman, Amos Oz, A. B. Yehoshua and Aharon Appelfeld. A similar controversy is brewing about the May book fair in Turin, Italy, which is also highlighting Israeli works.

The Islamic organization said its boycott call was a "response to the special standing (the fair) gives to Israel despite its atrocities, oppression and imposed starvation and siege against the Palestinian people."

It also argued that the Paris fair celebrates the 60th anniversary of Israel, a claim Eyrolles denies. He said it was merely coincidence, as Israel has asked to be honoured for five years in a row but there was a waiting list. Many of the Israeli writers being honoured are firm supporters of Palestinian statehood, he said.

Lebanon announced Wednesday that it would boycott the Paris event, a decision that French Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Pascale Andreani said was "extremely regrettable. "

A Hamas spokesperson thanked Allah the attacks were successful, calling the bombings a 'glorious act.' Islamic Jihad took the same approach. It predicted that this year would be the year of bombings.

"In the name of Allah, may all of the attacks be like this. That will exterminate [the Israelis]. It will be easier for us. We will reach the South, Tel-Aviv and the heart of Israel ," an unidentified man in Gaza said.

Israel responded to the suicide bombings by blowing up the car of the Popular Resistance Committee's leader, Abu Said Qarmout.

The attack killed Qarmount, and injured two members of the group who were riding with him.

The P.R.C. has been behind a good portion of the rockets fired into southern Israel from Gaza .

Some, including Minister Silvan Shalom, believe terrorists from Gaza were behind the Dimona attack.

What are the causes of Muslim Israelophobia?

Muslims believe that destroying the Jewish Holy Temple Mount promotes and expedites the Islamic goal to ethnically cleanse Jews from the Middle East. By invalidating claims to the historic Jewish presence of the Holy Jewish Temple Mount and by destroying any trace or any artifacts of the Jewish Holy Temple Mount, Muslims can declare supremacy over Judaism. We hear that desire all the time. We consistently hear Muslims invoke, demand, command, preach and pray that Israel "should not exist", "will not exist", "never existed", "does not exist", "can't exist".

Let's say Israel doesn't exist in an imaginary scenario. Israel is not here, there are no Jews, the legitimate and sovereign nation of Israel is gone. Let's explore what this imaginary non-existent Israel provides to Islam's baseline of thought: what does Israel - this piece of land and its Jewish inhabitants therein - represent to Muslims that Muslims simply cannot tolerate? We have all heard the propaganda that Israel is a virus, Israel is a cancer, etc, but we have not heard what the actual threat is that Israel represents to Muslims.

A cause to rule out is Jews offend Muslims while proselytizing to them - but Jews don't do that. They don't ask others to convert to Judaism. Besides, if a Muslim's faith in his god is anchored, there should be no logical basis to feel threatened, so if Israel does exist, then the existence of Judaism would not be a threat because Muslims would be secure in faith in Allah, so there would be no impetus to destroy Judaism. So, clearly the source of Muslim Israelphobia is not faith based.

Maybe the source of Muslim Israelphobia is racism. But since Jews come in every color and race, we have to reject attempts to legitimize racial causes for Muslims to eliminate Jews because of race. Besides, racism refers only to racial issues, not to views on culture, religion, or ideology.

So maybe the reason why Muslims want to eliminate Israel is because it is a territory. Let's imagine, then that in this imaginary scenario of a Middle East without an Israel, Muslims would have more territory and therefore, Muslims would occupy what once was Israel. Perhaps this is all about land. Perhaps Muslim Israelphobia is just a case for a land grab. In political economics, lots of land is a good thing. The more land owned by Muslims allows for the spread of more Muslim supremacy. But is any of this true according to the Koran?

According to the Koran, no person, people or religious community can claim a permanent right of possession over a certain territory, since the earth belongs exclusively to God, Who is free to entrust sovereign right to everyone He likes and for as long as He likes:

Say: O God, King of the kingdom, Thou givest the kingdom to whom Thou pleasest, and Thou strippest off the kingdom from whom Thou pleasest. Thou endurest with honor whom Thou pleasest, and Thou bringest low whom Thou pleasest. All the best is in Thy hand. Verily, Thou hast power over all things. (Koran, Sura 3:26, "The Imrans")

From this verse one can filter a basic principle of the monotheistic philosophy of Judaism and Christianity, both which preceded Islam: God can control relationships between people and countries. Sometimes God gives a land to a people, and sometime He takes land back and gives it to another people.

Maybe Muslims hate Jews simply because Muslims politically identify with others who look, act and behave like Muslims. It's hard to ignore the parts of the Koran which asks Muslims to kill or abduct all those who refuse to become members of their belief. This is the precise and official text given by Mohammed:

"So when the sacred months have passed away, then slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them captives and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush, then if they repent and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, leave their way free to them; surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful." (Koran, surat IX, 5)

But then it's just too difficult to ignore the racism one finds in the Koran. Islam officially encourages racism and discrimination which is contrary to Human Rights and democratic laws:

"O you who believe! Do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people." (Koran, surat V, 51)

As Shaykh Prof. Abdul Hadi Palazzi writes,

"The idea of Islam as a factor that prevents Arabs from recognizing any sovereign right of Jews over Palestine is quite recent and can by no means be found in Islamic classical sources. To see anti-Zionism as a direct consequence of Islam is a form of explicit misunderstanding which implies the transformation of Islam from a religion into a secularized ideology."

So it does come down to ideology. Palazzi says the most common argument against Islamic acknowledgement of Israeli sovereignty over Jerusalem is that, since al-Quds is a holy place for Muslims, they cannot accept it being ruled by non-Muslims, because such acceptance would be a betrayal of Islam.

Yet, Muslims seek to convey to non-Muslims that Islam is a tolerant religion.

So how does one explain this intolerance when the Muslim Hamas terror organization is planning a radio broadcast Wednesday from the Temple Mount – Judaism's holiest site –while the Israeli government has completely banned Jews and Christians from ascending the Mount that same day for fear of offending Muslims?

Wednesday marks the Muslim holiday of Ein ul-Adhaa, which commemorates the Islamic belief of Abraham's willingness to sacrificehis son Ishmael for Allah. The Torah says Abraham nearly sacrificedhis son Isaac, not Ishmael.

Wednesday is also the Jewish fast day of the Tenth of Tevet, which commemorates the start of the siege of Jerusalem leading up to the destruction of the First Jewish Temple during the reign of the Babylonian ruler Nebuchadnezzar. The fast also was proclaimed to mourn the First Temple's destruction.

The Islamic Jihad terror organization exclusively broadcast daily Ramadan prayers from the Mount on their official station, the Al Quds Network. The radio network regularly features Iranian and anti-Semitic propaganda and death threats against Jews.

This is not tolerance. This is a crapstorm.

Professor Moshe Sharon writes:

"There is no Fundamental Islam. Fundamentalism is a word that came from the heart of the Christian religion. It means faith that goes by the word of the Bible. Fundamental Christianity, or going with the Bible, does not mean going around and killing people. There is no fundamental Islam. There is only Islam full stop. The question is how the Koran is interpreted."

Muslim Israelphobia is clearly a matter of how the Koran is interpreted. The more one studies the Koran, the more clear the idea becomes that by removing Israel, the whole Middle East world would become a Muslim world, and moreso, that the whole world would be subdued under the rule of Islam.

But the most dificult content to digest regarding Muslim hatred of Israel is the way in which it is to be fulfilled. The Koran teaches Muslims to give their lives in exchange for assurances of paradise. Suicide bombings is one example. Suicide bombings are condoned by major authoritative Muslim voices whereas suicide bombings are absolutley unacceptable in Judaism and Christianity.

The accounts of Muhammad's actions and personal statements (hadith) elaborate on the Koran, providing specific dictations regarding treaties, pay, booty, prisoners, tactics, and much else. During his years in power, Mohammed engaged in an average of nine military campaigns a year, or one every five to six weeks.

Conquering and humiliating non-Muslims was a main feature of the Mohammed and his jihad. We can say for sure that Islam is not at all like Judaism and Christianity. "The exercise was unrestricted and was meant to cover all of the territory of the Zionist entity and not simply to strengthen our forces," Kassem claimed.

The operatives were unarmed during the maneuver, Kassem claimed.

Mahmoud Admadinejad and Lee Bollinger, two disturbed egos in search of a legacy

Kudos to NYC officials for denying the hideous misshapen puke, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad who, with typical Muslim hubris, asked permission to lay a wreath at the World Trade Center site when he comes to New York City next week.

Everyone knows that Ahmadinejad would only be mocking the Americans murdered by his Muslim brethren, and that his mocking act of laying a wreath would really be to honor the dead Muslims who perpetrated the greatest act of war on American soil since the Japs bombed Pearl Harbor in 1941.

Even worse is the fact that Ahmadinejad is coming to NY to address the UN General Assembly, and worst of all, is the fact that Lee Bollinger, the president of Columbia University, has invited Ahmadinejad to speak at Columbia. Both events are scheduled to take place on Monday, September 24, 2007.

Ironically, Lee Bollinger withdrew an invitation to Ahmadinejad in September 2006, after the dean of Columbia's school of international and public affairs, Lisa Anderson, had invited Ahmadinejad to speak at the World Leader's Forum, a year-long program that aims to unite "renowned intellectuals and cultural icons from many nations to examine global challenges and explore cultural perspectives." Bollinger said he canceled Ahmadinejad's invitation because he couldn't be certain it would "reflect the academic values that are the hallmark of a University event such as our World Leaders Forum."

The first message, posted May 13, 2007, states that the soldiers were captured in the course of "clashes between the mujahideen and a Crusader patrol in Al-Mahmudiyya." The second message, posted May 14, 2007 and titled "The War Scale Tips Once Toward You and Once Toward Us," mocks the official U.S. military spokesman in Iraq, saying that he "looked pale and could hardly speak... after the ISI captured the U.S. soldiers in Iraq" - in contrast with his demeanor on the day he announced the killing of the ISI's official spokesmen, Al-Jaburi, when he "bragged that they succeeded in killing our sheikh."

"Today," the message continues, "you have experienced a calamity. Your false propaganda presented the American soldier as undefeatable, as a soldier who can never be captured, but with Allah's grace the American soldier has been humiliated by the monotheists of the ISI." The message ends with a threat: "If you are concerned for the safety of your soldiers, do not search for them."

Salah also said that he plans to see to it that Jerusalem mosques are closed on Friday, the Muslim day of rest, in order to force all those who wish to take part in group prayers to travel to the Al-Aksa mosque. He has talked to Muslim leaders in other parts of Israel, asking them to tell their followers to visit the Jerusalem mosque in order to demonstrate a strong Muslim presence there. Such a presence, Salah is telling local Muslims, Salah also said that he plans to see to it that Jerusalem mosques are closed on Friday is the best defense against "Israeli aggression."

It is also congruent with the persistent Palestinian denial of the existence of King Solomon's Temple, and by extension the Jewish millennarian attachment to Jerusalem and the land of Israel. Small wonder that in 2002 he was appointed PLO Commissioner for Jerusalem affairs by Arafat, who in the Camp David summit of September 2000 had told President Clinton that the Temple had been located in Nablus rather than in Jerusalem. To judge by the gist of "Once Upon a Country," Arafat could not have made a better choice.

Bahr continued and said that America will be annihilated, while Islam will remain. The Muslims "'will be victorious, if you are believers.' Oh Muslims, I guarantee you that the power of Allah is greater than America, by whom many are blinded today. Some people are blinded by the power of America. We say to them that with the might of Allah, with the might of His Messenger, and with the power of Allah, we are stronger than America and Israel."

The Hamas spokesperson concluded with a prayer, saying: "Oh Allah, vanquish the Jews and their supporters. Oh Allah, count their numbers, and kill them all, down to the very last one. Oh Allah, show them a day of darkness. Oh Allah, who sent down His Book, the mover of the clouds, who defeated the enemies of the Prophet, defeat the Jews and the Americans, and bring us victory over them."

Dozens of celebrating Jews threatened by Israeli Arab mob

An Arab mob of several thousand - including young men on horseback and others waving PLO flags - surrounded and threatened about 150 Jews from Haifa who to a public forest to celebrate Israeli Independence Day. A Jewish young man was lightly injured in the ensuing clash.

On Tuesday afternoon, shortly after the group of Haifa families made their way to the Megiddo Forest, in the north of the country, a group of Arab youths on horseback accosted the Jewish celebrants, jeered and threatened them. As the young Arab men continued their menacing behavior, they called more Arab youths to join them. Some of the new arrivals were waving flags of the PLO terrorist organization.

At this stage of the incident, a few of the Jewish young men, with Israeli flags in hand, charged the gathering Arab mob. Within moments, a fight broke out, during which one of the Jewish youths suffered a light injury to the face. The Arabs, still threatening the Jewish families, called for more of their comrades to join them.

Within forty minutes of the start of the incident, 6,000 Arabs waving PLO flags and making menacing threats had gathered around the group of Jews in Megiddo Forest. It was only at this point that a border guard patrol jeep showed up on the scene, with just six soldiers.

It appears the Jewish celebrants had unknowingly chosen to hold their Independence Day picnic near the site of the central event held by Israeli Arabs to mark 'Nakba Day' - 'the day of the catastrophe' - as they call Israel's independence. Several thousand Arabs had come to attend the event, and heard speeches from several Arab Knesset Members, bemoaning Israel's 1948 War of Independence. Interestingly, the Arab leadership appears to be marking its 'alternative' day based on the Jewish calendar.

In response to an Arutz-7 query, the regional police department said that they were aware of the incident; however, "both sides promised they would press charges with the police, but neither side did. Therefore, the matter was not handled [by the police]." In August of 1999, Megiddo Forest, a planned fir forest located adjacent to Kibbutz Megiddo and the Arab-Israeli city of Umm El-Fahm, was the scene of a terrorist ambush and double murder. Two young hikers from Haifa, Yechiel Finfeter and Sharon Steinmetz, were murdered there by an Israeli Arab carrying out what was called "a nationalistic crime of opportunity.

Folks, actually this is understandable. If the Jews were manifesting any enjoyment, it would have been an unacceptable threat to the darkness and ignorance that Muslims thrive on.

See, the last thing Muslims can tolerate is a population of Jewish people who enjoy life. Introduce any kind of positive view on life into the Muslim population and the Islamist dies.

To the Islamist, killing a Jew is just a matter of self preservation.
