These numbers must ultimately count against an outmoded constitutional order geared to favor Christians first, Sunnis second, and Shiites third. But even if Lebanon cannot escape its Shiite destiny, it is not ordained that it must also become a Hizbullah state, taking its orders from Tehran.

The ever-dwindling Christian communities living in Palestinian-run territories in the West Bank and Gaza are likely to dissipate completely within the next 15 years as a result of increasing Muslim persecution and maltreatment, international human rights lawyer Justus Reid Weiner said Monday. Tens of thousands of Christian Arabs have left the Palestinian territories for a better life in the West, in a continuing exodus. The Palestinian Christian population has dipped to 1.5% of the population, down from at least 15% a half century ago. Bethlehem is now less than 20% Christian, after decades when Christians were the majority.

As part of his delusion that Islam is a “religion of peace and tolerance” President Bush, continuing a policy inherited from Bill Clinton and kept alive at the State Department and the United Nations, wants to turn the Serbian province of Kosovo over to a jihad terrorist organization, the “Kosovo Liberation Army” (KLA).

The certain result? The remaining Christian Serbs would be killed or driven out of their homes! And a rogue terrorist state would be created in Europe.

Why does he want that? Because, with the support of top Democrats, he thinks he can buy the friendship of the Muslim world by sacrificing Christians in Kosovo. As stated by the Democratic chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee in support of the State Department’s policy –

“ . . . just a reminder to the predominantly Muslim-led governments in this world that here is yet another example that the United States leads the way for the creation of a predominantly Muslim country in the very heart of Europe. This should be noted by both responsible leaders of Islamic governments, such as Indonesia, and also for jihadists of all color and hue. . . . the United States stands foursquare for the creation of an overwhelmingly Muslim country in the very heart of Europe.” -- [Rep. Oh, the Islamic jihadists have noticed alright – but not in the way Mr. Lantos intends.

Not to be outdone, Mr. Lantos’ Senate counterpart is of the same view in support of the Bush policy –

“ . . . adroit diplomacy to secure Kosovo’s independence could yield a victory for Muslim democracy, . . . a much-needed example of a successful US-Muslim partnership . . .” -- [Presidential candidate and Senator Joseph Biden (D-DE), Financial Times, 1/3/07]

It’s time for Americans to speak up and say NO to George Bush’s and the Democrats’ agenda on Kosovo.

Islamists torch 10 churches

Muslim extremists have burned down 10 Christian churches in Nigeria in an attack thought to have been sparked by a mentally retarded Christian teenager desecrating the Quran.

"We are still receiving reports from affected churches on this incident and would inform you adequately on the issue once the security situation there improves," Dr. Sam Kujiyat, vice-chairman of the Kaduna state chapter of CAN told journalists, according to the news service.

"Islamic terrorists hiding under the cover of religion have invaded the state and are now unleashing terror on Christians over stupid reasons."

"It is our conclusion that Muslim leaders are deliberately using fanatics in the name of Islam to engage in periodic attacks on Christians with the sole aim to intimidate, terrorize and force Christians into submission and to denounce their faith," Kujiyat said.

The teen is said to be in a coma.
