Israel Government betrays its own claim to Hebron

To my Jewish brethren in Israel: Rebuild your nation, defend your people from your government's oppression, defend your people from the barbarian Arabs, and rid yourselves of the cancerous entity "Peace Now". There is no longer a single Jew in the Israeli government. The government is filled with men of little faith. Israel has indeed fallen from grace. From INN:
The State Prosecution says a recent Hebron decision should be overturned and that Jews should be evicted from their marketplace homes.

Responding to the Supreme Court in the framework of a judicial process regarding Jewish presence just off the old Jewish marketplace, the State Prosecution stated that the Jews should be evicted. Peace Now had appealed an earlier decision to allow one family to continue living in an old store built several decades ago by the Jordanians on Jewish-owned property, and another family to reside in a room it added to an existing home.

The reason for the change in position? Concern for the rule of law. In its statement to the Court, the Prosecution writes, "The Appellate Committee's decision to issue an order preventing the eviction of the infiltrators does not give appropriate weight to the importance of maintaining law, or to the grave harm that will be caused to the rule of law if the legally-ungrounded infiltrators remain in the stores."

"Therefore," the Prosecution continues, "this is a decision that is unreasonable in an extreme manner, to the extent that justifies the intervention of the honorable Court."

Hevron Jewish Community spokesman David Wilder told Arutz-7, "We're dealing with Jewish property whose owner - Yosef Ezra, whose family lived here for hundreds of years - has declared that he wants us to live there, until the property can returned to him legally. The army has stated in the past that the stores should never be reopened, because of security dangers they represent to the Jewish Community here. Therefore, the fact that the State Prosecution is backing Peace Now's claim is so blatantly political and against Jewish Hevron that it seems we're dealing more with a Bolshevik regime than with legal democratic issues."

Hevron Jewish Community spokesman David Wilder feels that the Jews in Hevron are suffering from the plans being made for the Annapolis summit next month. He explained that Olmert will need to make a significant concession: "It won't be able to be Jerusalem, for that's still too sticky an issue. Nor can it be a Palestinian state - that's already old hat. So it will have to be a commitment to remove the Jews from the most sensitive settlement of all - Hevron."

Wilder says that U.S. Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice is exerting great pressure to this end.

Video: Peace Now's ruse backfired

Folks, check out this ruse that Peace Now tried to pull off on Jews celebrating Simchat Torah. In this video, during Simchat Torah celebration in Hebron - Judaism's second holiest city - a scuffle breaks out between Jews and Muslim Arab terrorists, and is - ironically - filmed by a Peace Now bystander.

What a coincidence that he just happened to have been there with a video camera, no?

Watch carefully as one of Peace Now's plants in the foreground is asked what he is doing there, while a Jew beats the crap out of another one of Peace Now's plants, a Muslim Arab terrorist in the upper background.

My favorite part was watching the Muslim Arab terrorist getting his ass kicked, and then running away, screaming. Actually, watching the Pali coward run was the best part.

Clearly, Peace Now planted their dirty rat bastards in two positions.

The whole video was a fraud, and it backfired on Peace Now.

Thank you, Peace Now, for showing us just what moral pygmys your fraudulent "peace" Jew-hating group is composed of.

And thank you for the sample video so that we can post it on our blogs and show your manipulation and mendacity to the whole world.

Can you spell Backfired?

Check out the video here.

Women in Green: Outlaw "Peace Now"

Via INN:
Motorists driving along the main Jerusalem-Tel Aviv highway Tuesday morning were surprised and dismayed to see Syrian flags flying alongside Israeli flags as they made the ascent to the capital.

The red, white and black Syrian flag was placed on poles between the Shaar HaGai intersection and the government complex by left-wing Peace Now members. By hanging the colors of the enemy state, Peace Now wished to draw attention to its desire for government talks with Syria.

Nadia Matar, co-founder of the grassroots Women in Green organization, said that Peace Now has thus shown its true face. "I call upon the authorities to gather the Peace Now leadership," Matar said, "put them on buses, and send them to Syria, where they belong and where they will be welcomed happily."

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert spoke with an Arabic newspaper on Monday and made a direct plea to Syrian President Bashar Assad to agree to direct, unmediated peace talks with Israel. "I turn to you, Mr. Assad, and call upon you to engage in direct peace negotiations - but you prefer American mediation," Olmert said. Menachem Begin tendered a similar invitation to Anwar Sadat - who wound up receiving the entire Sinai desert in less than five years.

In 1977, then-Prime Minister Menachem Begin tendered a similar, though less biting, invitation to then-Egyptian President Anwar Sadat - who took up the gauntlet and wound up receiving the entire Sinai desert within less than five years.

Hevron activists Baruch Marzel and Itamar Ben-Gvir filed a complaint with the police against Peace Now. They similarly claimed that as Syria is an enemy state, it is illegal to unfurl the country's flag in public.

Nadia Matar said that Peace Now is actually calling not for peace talks but for a surrender to Syrian demands to immediately give up the Golan Heights. "I call upon the Attorney General to view this as an act of treachery and betrayal," she said. "Those who act to give up Israeli territory to the enemy is, by law, a traitor."

Israel took control of the Golan Heights in the Six Day War of 1967, after the Syrians used the area for years to shell Israeli kibbutzim below. Since then, the Syrian border has always been Israel's quietest. In 1981, Israel annexed the Golan.

In early 1999, the Knesset voted that no part of the Golan or Jerusalem may be transferred to a foreign power without an absolute majority of 61 Knesset Members and a popular referendum in accordance with a to-be-legislated Referendum Law. In May of this year, the Knesset voted, in a preliminary reading, to require the referendum even before such a Referendum Law is legislated.
"Israelis must realize that Peace Now is collaborating with the enemy," Matar said "and this organization must be outlawed. It is ridiculous that the Kach movement [originally founded by the late Rabbi Meir Kahane - ed.], which calls for love of Israel, is outlawed, while those who collaborate with the Palestinians and inform on Jews are legal."

Peace Now is dedicated to destroying the Jewish presence in Judea and Samaria [Yesha], and often seeks out Arabs who will claim that Jewish towns are built on their land. The PA news agency Ma'an recently thanked Peace Now for publishing a report alleging that 40% of Yesha communities are built on private Arab land. The Yesha Council published a factual rebuttal of the report, but this did not stop Ma'an from writing, "This is now a 'ready-to-go' case for the International Court... Now that Peace Now has given this gift to the land-owners, we must thank this organization..."

"Peace Now" Protests For a Jew-Free Hebron

It is outrageous in the extreme that the world would accept a scheme that would permit Arabs to have an ethnically cleansed continent where no Jews can live, but that's exactly what the misanthropes at Peace Now endeavor for. They want all of Hebron Jew-free. What they don't realize is that Hebron was already Jewish when Europe was still a swamp. Just as Germans can live in France and French in Germany, Jews should be able to remain in Hebron and Gaza as Arabs remain in Jaffa and their Galilee villages.

It's hardly irrational that Jews should want to live in Hebron or in Jerusalem or near the Wailing Wall or other sites of great importance in Jewish history and religion, particularly given how poorly Muslims have treated such sites.

Peace Now, a left-wing group founded to bring about Israel's withdrawal from Lebanon, but expanded to work toward a withdrawal from all areas won by Israel in the 1967 Six Day War held a protest in Hevron earlier this month. The protest, in the heart of the tiny Jewish quarter of the city, featured large signs demanding the Jews be barred from living in the city of the Patriarchs.

The local community, by and large, chose to ignore the protest, saying the group's aim was to draw them into confrontations it could then use to justify Peace Now's provocations - but several activist groups from outside Hevron came to counter Peace Now's message.
Women in Green, Tzafrir Ronen's Nahalal Forum and Kumah all turned up with signs and activists to say that Jewish life in Hevron is a positive thing, which should be expanded and allowed to flourish. Peace Now protestors led chants like "We don't want to die in vain, make peace now!" and "Hevron settlers - a bone in the throat."

Women in Green's Nadia Matar pointed out that Peace Now is heavily funded by the same European Union that is soft on Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Kim M., a student at a Christian university in Pennsylvania, observed the Peace Now protest from the side. "I've only been in Palestine for a few days," she said. "And I'm still trying to figure everything out." Kim wore a CPT (Christian Peacemaker Teams) hat; she was part of a tour organized by the radical Christian group. Other CPT members stood aside and opined that the Jewish Peace Now protestors still insist on occupying pre-1967 Israel as well, "stolen from the Palestinians in 1948."

Being Christian doesn't authorize you to determine for me and my people where we live and where our borders are, CPT. Those days are over. If you're going to be realistic, then arrange to reinstate Jewish citizenship in Syria, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen, Arabia, Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, Lybia, Tunisia, Algeria, & Morocco. Invite the Jews back to all those countries, and restore their rightful property. Be true to your words and lead the way, Christian.

The misanthropic Peace Now

The fetid misanthropes who hide their dysfunctional personalities behind the mask of "Peace Now" will be holding a protest against Jews in their indigenous regions of Judea and Samaria in the heart of Hebron’s Jewish neighborhood Tuesday. Counter-protesters say they will be there too. The left-wing Jew-haters anti-settlement group petitioned the Supreme Court to force police and IDF officials to allow the protest and provide security for it after their application was rejected.

Kumah, a Zionist movement promoting mass Aliyah (immigration to Israel), says it has organized a counter-protest to signify the Jewish people’s embrace of Hevron and the rest of the Land of Israel during the week of the reading of the Torah portion of Shelach, dealing with the ten spies and their rejection of the land.

“Of 12 spies, only Joshua and Caleb yearned for the Land,” a Kumah statement read. “Caleb received his strength from the forefathers buried in Hevron - as it says of him: ‘and he came unto Hevron.’”

Kumah will be providing transportation to Hevron from Jerusalem’s Binyanei HaUmah conference center 9 AM, stopping also at the Gush Etzion Junction. The Gush Etzion Action Committees also sent out an alert, calling on local activists with cars to meet at the Gush Etzion Junction at 9:45 AM in order to travel to Hevron in a convoy. Public transportation is also available via Egged’s 160 bus, which leaves every hour. Activists arriving by bus will meet at Kiryat Arba’s Bank Leumi at 10:30 AM.

Some activists have called upon the public to use Peace Now’s buses. They are leaving Jerusalem’s Gan HaPaamon (Liberty Bell Park) at 9:30 AM and Tel Aviv’s El Al early check-in at the Rakevet Tzafon area at 9 AM. Organizers of those buses can be reached at 054 215 1128 (Noa, for Jerusalem) and 054 440 5157 (Dolev, for Tel Aviv) or emailed at: noa@peacenow.org.il and dolev@peacenow.org.il.

Yesha Council Slams Peace Now's "Lies Now" Report

----------------
The Yesha Council highlights the deceptions in a recent study by the ultra-left wing Peace Now group purporting to show that 40% of Yesha communities are built on private Arab land.

"The so-called facts in the Peace Now report are from the true reality," the Yesha Council says.

The Yesha Council has named its report, currently underway, "The Protocols of Peace Now - the Great Deception." It includes maps, documents, quotations - and an itemized list of "simple, ridiculous mistakes, as well as the lack of sincerity, that typify the criminal negligence that characterizes this hate-motivated report."

Praised by Arabs

The Peace Now report received lavished praise from Palestinian Authority Arabs. The PA news agency Ma'an recently wrote that it "shows part of the true face of the Hebrew State... It shows that private Arab-owned lands were simply stolen by the Hebrew state to build settlements - disproving the claim of four decades... The report was not publicized by me or by a Palestinian organization, but by an Israeli organization - and Israel cannot deny it... Where are all the Israeli mottos about justice, democracy and civil rights?... This is now a 'ready-to-go' case for the International Court... Now that Peace Now has given this gift to the land-owners, we must thank this organization, and see what the land-owners and the PA will do; for this is much to do..."

"The Peace Now members are running around the world with this report," a Yesha Council source said, "in order to malign the State of Israel - but it is filled with distorted data and lies. All is apparently fair and acceptable in their war against the Jewish communities."

Peace Now members are currently lobbying U.S. Congressmen against Israel based on their report. Nationalist camp activists say that Peace Now's objective is to make the approval of U.S. aid to Israel contingent upon the withdrawal of Israeli financial support for all Yesha communities allegedly on private Arab land, as well as the destruction of all hilltop outposts.

No State-Owned Lands in Yesha?

The point of departure of the Peace Now report, the Yesha Council says, is that "all of Judea and Samaria is private Arab-owned land unless proven otherwise." The entire concept of state-owned lands essentially does not exist for Peace Now, says Council leader Pinchas Wallerstein.

Only a small percentage of Judea and Samaria is actually privately-owned, however. A legal expert familiar with the area told Arutz-7 that "perhaps 5%" of the uninhabited land there is privately-owned. "Vast areas in Judea and Samaria lay totally desolate in 1967 when Israel liberated them in the Six Day War," he said. Most of these areas were then designated as state-owned, in the absence of other documentation.

For instance, most of Maaleh Adumim - one of the largest cities in Judea and Samaria, just east of Jerusalem - appears on the Peace Now report as if built on private land, when in fact it was built on state-owned lands.

The Yesha report also shows that Peace Now falsely "expanded" the borders of Jewish communities into Arab-owned land. "Additional area around the communities was simply added to the Jewish towns," a Yesha source said, "as if to prove that the Jews had stolen the land - when in fact the communities don't claim these areas at all."

Peace Now even ignores a ruling by former Supreme Court Chief Justice Aharon Barak, Wallerstein states. Barak ruled in the past that the community of Etz Ephraim, near Elkanah, is built on Jewish-owned land - yet Peace Now has it on Arab land.

Neither does Peace Now recognize the sale of land, apparently. The Modiin-area community of Kfar Oranim, for instance, whose land was duly purchased from Arabs, appears in the Peace Now report as "mostly Arab-owned."

The Essential Goal: An End to Jewish Presence in Judea and Samaria

Peace Now's activities center largely on making life difficult, if not impossible, for Jews living in Judea and Samaria. One of its major campaigns in recent months has been waged against the construction of 33 high-rise buildings in a section of Modi'in Illit, some of which were built on land belonging to the nearby Arab village of Bil'in. A Peace Now spokesperson speaking with Arutz-7 at the time did not rule out the possibility that it would seek a court order to demolish the buildings - though Jewish families had already purchased and moved into many of the apartments.

This past December, the nearly 200 people of Migron, south of Beit El, learned that Defense Minister Peretz plans to forcibly expel them in several months if no "voluntary evacuation" agreement is reached. Though some of the land on which Migron was founded is officially listed as Arab-owned, these Arabs had never come forward to make their claim, nor had they ever cultivated or laid any claim to it - until Peace Now sought them out and encouraged them to do so.

Peace Now has also targeted new construction in Maaleh Adumim, Maaleh Rechavam, a neighborhood in Eli, and many more locations, and has demanded the destruction of some 120 hilltop outposts throughout Judea and Samaria. It frequently files suit in the Supreme Court against what it feels is the government's slow pace in demolishing areas of Jewish presence in Judea and Samaria. Last month, a petition by Peace Now has prompted Attorney General Mazuz to open a limited criminal investigation against government officials who arranged funding for Yesha outposts.

MK Uri Ariel said that the "deceptive Peace Now report is another attempt to foster conflict and ignite a war... Peace Now does not promote peace amongst the Jews, nor between us and the Arabs." Yaakov (Ketzaleh) Katz of Beit El, a veteran leader of the settlement enterprise in Judea and Samaria, said about Peace Now's latest report, "They merely want to weaken us and the State of Israel." Gush Etzion settlement leader Nadia Matar has said that "members of Peace Now are spying and informing on behalf of the Arab enemy."

International Funding

Notably, Peace Now's costly expenses in detailing every new Israeli structure in Judea and Samaria are largely funded by foreign governments. Investigative reporter David Bedein says the organization is or has been effectively on the payroll of at least three European governments - Britain, Norway, and Finland - and has also been funded by the Economic Cooperation Foundation, a group funded directly by the European Union.

Britain and Norway are fundamentally opposed to the existence of Israeli communities in Yesha, thus that the money they give Peace Now invariably serves those governments' foreign policy interests. Despite this, the organization is not required under Israeli law to register as a foreign agent. In contrast, Bedein explained, if the organization were operating in the United States, it would have to register as a foreign agent with the U.S. Justice Department.

Bedein said Peace Now "was in effect spying on Israel for foreign governments," and engages in surveillance activities relating not only to Israeli communities, but also on military installations belonging to the IDF.

Outposts Have a Purpose

The Yesha Council report opens with a strong criticism of the type of work Peace Now does:

"The very decision to evacuate outposts, to the cheers of the Palestinians, as if we were disciplining third-graders along the style of, 'Get out, stand in the corner, show us your papers and then return,' without checking seriously even one time what the real objective of these outposts is and how they will contribute to less friction and a better atmosphere - for this alone the Knesset should vote no-confidence in the government." These words were uttered in the Knesset by then-MK Ariel Sharon on October 18, 1999.

Sharon explained at the time that one of the justifications for the outposts is to guarantee Israeli access to various routes in the area. "For instance," he said, " Elon Moreh, Itamar and the Shilo bloc must be connected to the Alon route in the Jordan Valley to their east. If we don't sit on important points along these routes, who will defend them?"
