I am writing to you in the hopes of you writing a few words of support for Canadian author Howard Rotberg. He was invited to give a lecture at a Canadian book retailer on his book, The Second Catastrophe, when pro-Palestinians supporters showed up and caused a disturbance.
The book retailer cancelled the lecture and later issued a press release accusing the author of racism. Consequently, his books are no longer being carried by Canada's largest retailer and his good name is being unjustly maligned. Howard Rotberg decided to fight back and his trial is set to start August 27th and 28th.He is more or less been on his own and left hanging in the wind. He could use all the support he can muster. I have written a blog post for him but I would like to enlist your aid as well. I don't need a link to my piece, a few words about his case, or even a suggestion to buy his book would go a long way to help. He also has just starting blogging and his blog can be found here.
A content-rich information fact and opinion blog that advocates, educates, professes, affirms, defends and furnishes facts while restoring truth to the Middle East narrative about the legitimate and sovereign nation of Israel. On the internet with news and opinions from the right since 2003, and on forum boards, blasting Arabists, neo-nazis, Islamists and other Jew-haters, since 1999.

Canada has fallen for the mythology of the poorpalestinianpeople
If you expect to send or receive mail between Canada and Israel, don't expect successful deliveries. The Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) has become the first national union in North America to pass a resolution in support of the boycott, divestment and sanctions campaign against Israel.
The resolution states that CUPW, a union that represents more than 50,000 Canadian postal workers, will work “with Palestinian solidarity and human rights organizations to develop an educational campaign about the apartheid nature of the Israeli state and the political and economic support of Canada for these practices.”
Wonderful, isn't it, that stupid Canadian mailmen who can hardly read names correctly to match the mailboxes are suddenly political experts on Israel.
What phucking stupid sheep. No one ever discusses Muslim occupation of Israel or the Muslim pirates off the Barbary Coast (hence the term, "barbarians") , or Arab culpability in the African slave trade, or the glaring detriment of Muslim contributions to civilization in the past 500 years. Odd. Yet all that anyone wants to discuss are how palestinians are the only group that is morally and politically entitled to "self-determination".
I wonder why that is. What moral basis is there for such self-determination? Palestinians always identify themselves as Arabs. That being the case, why are over twenty sovereign Arab states, in a territory larger than that of the United States, not sufficient? And if palestinians are not Arabs, why do Arab leaders never demand self-determination for those palestinians not under Israeli control—such as in Jordan and Lebanon, or in the pre-1967 West Bank?
Let's see if there's a Canadian postal worker smart enough to answer those questions. I doubt there is even one amongst them who can.
