Folks, can you believe this? (IsraelNN.com) Until now, Israeli teachers filling out an online form of the Ministry of Education for purposes of continuing education could have listed their 'country of origin' as 'Israel' or 'Judea and Samaria'. However, in response to inquiries by the Hatzofeh newspaper and Arutz-7, Minister of Education Limor Livnat ordered that the Ministry's online forms drop Judea and Samaria as an independent 'country of origin'.
According to a spokesman for the Education Ministry, it is the Interior Ministry that decided the list of possible countries of origin.
