Eleven IDF soldiers were killed in the last 36-hours in separate but similar incidents in the Gaza Strip.
21,781 people have fallen defending the Land of Israel since 1860. In the last year alone, 195 servicemen and women fell in defense of the state, while 137 civilians were murdered in scores of palestinian terrorist attacks.
