It’s a show that won't make the Saturday morning lineup on any American network. But it has had a prominent slot on Palestinian TV. The program lacks the same slick production value of an American children's show, but it's just as influential. It's called The Children's Club.
It comes complete with puppet shows, games, songs and a very chilling message about becoming a suicide bomber. A little girl sings in Arabic about her ultimate ambition in life.
(Song Translation) “Oh sing my sister constantly about my life as a suicide warrior.”
Another girl screams about preparing to die.
(Song Translation) “I foresee my death, but I march quickly. Am I afraid? Life has little value because I'm returning to my lord and my people will know I am a hero.”

A Smooth Stone Study Lesson: What is Wahhabism?
For more than two centuries, Wahhabism has been Saudi Arabia's dominant faith.
It is an austere form of Islam that insists on a literal interpretation of the Koran. Strict Wahhabis believe that all those who don't practice their form of Islam are heathens and enemies.
Wahhabism's rigidity has led it to misinterpret and distort Islam, breeding such extremists as Osama bin Laden and the Taliban.
When the rest of the world saw the Taliban destroy the Buddhist statues and other artifacts in Afghanistan, that was a Wahhabi view because Wahhabis don't believe in tombstones, don't believe in images being acceptable, and don't believe in statues. They believe all of these are forms of polytheism.
Saudi Arabia has its own particular interpretation of Islam which is very legalistic and very austere.
Bin Laden's political goal is to cleanse the land of Mecca and Medina of infidels and to supplant the Saudi monarchy with an Islamic state in the Taliban mold.
Because of America's close ties to the Saudi monarchy, and particularly because of the links between the Saudi regime and Bush administration officials, the contradictory behavior of the Saudi royals has become the unmentionable scandal of the crisis ushered in by the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11.
The Saudi Information Agency has obtained a tape by prominent government official cleric Shaikh Saad Al-Buraik calling for enslaving Jewish women. The tape is called "a Monkey Desecrates Mosque," and was delivered in a Riyadh government mosque. The monkey refers to Jews.
Since Sept. 11, the Saudis have mounted a well-funded campaign to convince Americans that they bear no blame for anything.
It has been a Saudi pretext that they could buy whatever influence they needed in America, and they have had many Americans on their payroll, from lawyers to politicians.
But the American people cannot be bought. Not even with cheap oil.
We must begin by confronting the Saudis and giving them the choice President Bush offered the rest of the world: Either you are with us in the fight against terror, or you are against us.

Rumours of the staging of a beauty pageant provoked rioting on a Nigerian campus between Muslim and Christian students, leaving one dead and dozens injured, witnesses said on Monday.
The head of Maiduguri University's student union, Baba Shehu, told AFP that trouble broke out late on Saturday when Muslim students attacked a venue where they suspected a beauty parade was being held because it was offensive to parade women during the holy month of Ramadan.
"The mob attacked with sticks and clubs. Those beaten were mainly women attending the party," Shehu said. "This incensed the Christian students, who decided to counterattack."
Good for the Christians. Maybe their counterattack will teach the Muslims to mind their own business.

More and more Muslims are discovering that the violence evinced by some of their coreligionists is not an aberration but is inspired by the teachings of the Quran and the examples set by its author. Muslims are becoming disillusioned with Islam. They find out that the mechanistic ritual of praying five times per day, reciting verses that they do not understand and indeed mean nothing, getting up at taxing hours of the morning and abstaining from food and water until the sunset are not means to becoming more spiritual but are instruments to control their mind. These enlightened Muslims no more heed to the fear mongering verses of the Quran that threaten to burn them and roast them in the fires of hell if they dare to think and question the validity of that book.
Every day thousands of Muslim intellectuals are leaving Islam. They find Islam inconsistent with science, logics, human rights and ethics. Millions of Iranians already have left Islam. The enlightened Muslims of other nationalities are not far behind. This is the beginning of a mass exodus from Islam. It is a movement that is already in motion and nothing can stop it.
However the exodus from Islam is not reserved to the intellectuals but also the average Muslims are finding that Islam is not the way to God but to ignorance, poverty and wars. They are leaving Islam to embrace other religions especially the Christianity.
In fact with the weakening of Islam, we can hope to see peace in many war-ridden parts of the world including Palestine. By now it should be clear that any road map to peace between Israel and Palestine will be blocked by the Islamists and the terrorists. Peace in Middle East is not possible as long as Islam is the ideology of the masses.
It is important that we realize that this terrorism that is threatening the peace of the world and these wars that bleed the Muslim nations are not economically motivated but are religious wars. The weakening of Islam means peace for mankind.

This is an excellent article, written by Dr. Daniel Eisenberg, physician and Jewish medical ethicist, who explains that it is a denial of the Jewish ideal of the fundamental value of life that drives the forces that wish to remove Terri Schiavo's feeding tube.
While Judaism does recognize quality of life in certain circumstances, (click here for details) the Torah does not sanction euthanasia in any situation. To remove the feeding tube from a patient whose only impairment is cognitive is simply murder.

Eleven people died and thousands were taken to hospital with breathing difficulties after a swarm of grasshoppers invaded a town in central Sudan.
A resident in Wad Medani, southeast of the capital Khartoum, said the grasshoppers gave off a strong smell which caused breathing problems.
Sounds like a foreshadowing of the End Times.
