I find it laughably outrageous when Arab Muslims refuse to recognize Israel's Jewish identity on the grounds that "it is not acceptable for a country to link its national character to a specific religion" considering we have the formal names of countries such as The Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, The Islamic Republic of Iran, The Islamic Republic of Mauritania, and The Islamic Republic of Pakistan. We also have the ethnic designations of The United ARAB Emirates, the Syrian ARAB Republic, the Great Socialist People's Libyan ARAB Jamahiriya, the ARAB Republic of Egypt.
Does anyone else find Arab Muslim selective indignation the least bit hypocritcal?
On a good note, the CIA World Factbook lists Jerusalem as Israel's capital, because, well, it is.
