Now, explain why the West Bank is on Israel's eastern border. Can't explain it? It's named "West Bank", a phrase created by King Hussein of Jordan after the war in 1948 when he declared that Jordan, originally named Trans-Jordan, would annex that area, and illegally occupy Jewish land.
The phrase "West Bank" stayed with the media, unchallenged, for the past 58 years.
Jordan, originally named Trans-Jordan by the British, is the defacto partitioned land area that was allocated to the Arabs in 1948 when they pig-headedly and stupidly refused the offer to have their own state.
And now, they NEVER will.
