6,000-Year-Old Burial Caves Found in Northern Israel

Israeli archaeologists have discovered dozens of burial caves dating back 6,000 years in northern Israel, Israel's Antiquities Authority announced Monday.

The caves, found during an excavation near a major highway south of Moshav Sde Moshe, included stone tombstones, pottery, and hundreds of burial items such as jewelry and vessels.
