Folks, Azure’s Autumn 2005 issue is now available online at www.azure.org.il. In this issue, you will find the wide variety of essays and reviews that you have come to expect from Azure. In particular, the issue highlights the profound challenges facing the UN and the system of international law that has been built around it over the past half-century. In addition to the lead piece by Arlene Kushner on the Palestinian refugee problem, the issue features an essay by Armand Laferrere, a former advisor to France’s interior minister Nicolas Sarkozy, on the future of international law; and a review of David Rieff’s new book on genocide, by Clifford Orwin.
