Folks, the following article informs us of two things; for one, its content is more proof that Jews lived in the land of Israel for thousands of years and demonstrates that Jews did not invade the land of some falsified and fabricated group of people (only recently named "Palestinians" in 1964 by the depraved barbarian Yassir Arafat), and secondly, that Reuters is a profoundly biased news agency whose singular purpose is to mislead its readers by framing its words in such a way that the reader only gets the "palestinian" Muslim side of the story. Here we go:
Israel will soon open to the public an underground archaeological site near Jerusalem's most sensitive shrine, [Smooth: shrine? ] an official said on Thursday, in an area where inauguration of an exhibit in 1996 led to bloodshed. [Smooth: what did the Muslim riots in 1996 have to do with having discovered the bath, which is a great archaeological find?]
The Jewish ritual bath, dating to the 1st century, will be opened at a site running parallel to Judaism's Western Wall in the Israeli-annexed Old City of Jerusalem. [Smooth: Israeli-annexed? why were there no complaints that Jordan had annexed Jerusalem from 1948 thru 1967 ?]
Palestinians have long opposed Israeli excavations in the area, citing dangers to the foundations of al-Haram al-Sharif, the site of the Dome of the Rock and al-Aqsa mosques where the biblical Jewish Temples once stood. [Smooth: Once again, Reuters hooks in the "palestinians" point of view - which is irrelevant to the archaeological discovery]
In 1996, Israel's opening of an archaeological tunnel near al-Haram al-Sharif sparked Palestinian violence in which 61 Arabs and 15 Israeli soldiers were killed. [ Smooth: that's right, reader, under the premiership of Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel opened an exit to an already existing tunnel by the Western Wall. It caused a riot by the local Arabs, and was condemned worldwide. Yet, that tunnel door has remained open for years with no earth-shattering consequence.]
Adnan Husseini, director of the Waqf, or Islamic Trust in Jerusalem administering al-Haram al-Sharif, an area revered by Jews as the Temple Mount, voiced opposition to the new site. [Smooth: Of course he would. The discovery of Jewish artifacts and Jewish structures rips more holes in the Big Lie - that "palestinians" land was stolen by the Jews.]
"Excavations are dangerous for the mosques' structures," he told Reuters. "Such moves are also illegal." [Smooth: It's only illegal if you're a Jew. If you're a Muslim, you can steal everything, then claim it was Islamic later.]
Arieh Banner, an official with Israel's Western Wall Heritage Foundation, said the ritual bath did not run under al-Haram al-Sharif or endanger the shrine.
"This is a very important discovery from the second (Jewish) Temple period and we hope to open this to the public within the next month to two months," Banner said.
"We would not do anything in the direction of the Temple Mount," he said, adding the site was 60 to 70 metres (230 feet) from the Western Wall.
Israel captured East Jerusalem in the 1967 Middle East war and later annexed it, a step that has not been recognised internationally. [Smooth: "East" Jerusalem. Capitalized "E". There is no such place as "East" Jerusalem. "East" Jerusalem is just another word used in the "palestinian" lexicon. A small note - Israel captured Jerusalem AFTER Israel was initially attacked by five Arab nations. Reuters is not aware that the Disputed Territories never belonged to the "palestinians" and only came into Israeli possession as a result of the 1967 six day war in which Egypt, Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon all massed forces at Israel's border in order to push the Jews into the sea. The Arabs lost and Israel took control of the land.]
Palestinians want the eastern part of the city as the capital of a future state. [Smooth: And may they all suffer and die in their struggle as they attempt to thieve it away].
