Chief rabbi sees imminent coming of Messiah

Folks, do you feel it like I do? Do you sense something - different, or something - coming? Do you feel a strangeness in the weather, an alarming whiteness to the sun's glare? Have you felt a heat this summer not felt so intensely ever before? Have you noticed that not many birds sing in the morning? Have you seen less animals in the wild than you used to? Have you felt, what shall I call it, a sense of global sadness, or perhaps, a sense of evil?

I have.

I have felt it since 1999 when I battled, on a daily basis, with vicious Jew haters on AOL's forum boards.

It was then and there that I became aware of how arabists, as if in a sci-fi film, were like larvae in breeding pods, waiting to be expelled from the mucous and slime that kept them incubated and insulated until the time was right, to crawl out of their insect dwellings to flit and swarm onto the world's playground in order to infect everyone with Jew hatred.

I "met", unfortunately, the most vicious men and women on AOL; liars, arabists, terrorist apologists, neo-nazis, mohammedans, and self-loathers. It was in 1999 that I discovered what Arafat the pig had given birth to.

I remember, in hindsight, how one arabist had warned the pro-Israelis on the forum board - "wait until September 11", and I remembered my own reaction to that post, when I thought - what the hell was he talking about? and soon I discovered what the nihilist psychopath meant.

Tonite I read this article - Chief rabbi sees imminent coming of Messiah. Russian Chief Rabbi Berel Lazar believes the Earth will soon see the coming a Messiah to judge all mankind. Lazar stated, "the world today is in a state described by our sages as 'hevley mashiah,' that is, labor that precedes the coming of a Messiah," he said. "It is a time when many good things are created in the world and the progress of science and technology has made it possible to solve many human problems, to overcome diseases, famine, etc., on one hand. On the other hand, it is for the first time since God created human beings that humans have taken hold of such means of destruction that the whole of our race and even the globe itself can be destroyed instantly."

"We are living on the verge of history," he said. "It can be felt everywhere."

I feel it, folks. It is time to say our prayers and to ask Gd for forgiveness. We must repent. The media is fearful of religion, but I am fearful of HaShem. The media defies Gd. I know the history of our people's persecutions and expulsions from every country in Europe. I just can't believe I'm watching it happen again. I can't get over the irrationality of it. I can't assimilate the unfairness of it. I can't grasp the inequity of the world's embrace of the U.S. campaign in Afghanistan and in Iraq 10,000 miles away, while it condemns Israel's efforts to achieve security from terrorists next door. It beggars words. It is monstrous. But it is prophesied.
"God will scatter you among all the peoples, from the end of the earth to the end of the earth . . . and among those nations you will not be tranquil, there will be no rest for the sole of your foot; there God will give you a trembling heart, longing of eyes, and suffering of soul. Your life will hang in the balance, and you will be frightened night and day." -- Deut. 28: 64 - 67

"See I have placed before you today the life and the good, and the death and the evil, that which I command you today, to love God, your God, to walk in His ways, to observe His commandments, His decrees, and His ordinances; they you will live and you will multiply, and God, your God will bless you in the Land to which you come to possess it. But if your heart will stray and you will not listen, and you are led astray, and you prostate yourself to the gods of others and serve them, I tell you today that you will surely be lost; you will not lengthen your days upon the Land that you cross the Jordan to come there, to possess it. I call heaven and earth today to bear witness against you: I have placed life and death before you, blessing and curse; and you shall choose life, so that you will live, you and your offspring, to love God, your God, to listen to His voice and to cleave to Him for He is your life and the length of your days, to dwell upon the land that God swore to your forefathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them." -- Deut. 30:15 -20
