Betar, in conjunction with Orange Cell, Secular Student Initiative and the community councils of Northern Samaria has launched a campaign to Stop Disengagement!
Stop Disengagement! efforts are focused on protesting the mass transfer of Jews that is set to take place in early August 2005. Through this grassroots effort, we are mobilizing thousand of activists and through a wide variety of LEGAL forms of protest are working to prevent disengagement.
"We must use all our resources to stop disengagement as this is a disaster for the State of Israel and the Jewish people. We will take our message to the streets of Israel and use all legal forms of protest to stop disengagement" --Danny Danon, World Betar Chairman.
The Stop Disengagement! campaign was first launched on the web at http://www.stopdisengagement.com/ to raise awareness, educate people and provide an intellectual - security argument against disengagement.
People can also contribute to the Stop Disengagement! campaign by donating and sponsoring specific actions.
