An IDF officer was killed Tuesday by a Palestinian barbarian near the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem. Captain Shahar Shmul, 24, a company commander in the armored corps, was checking a suspicious vehicle when the Palestinian opened fire from a nearby alley. Hours later, IDF tanks rumbled into the West Bank town for the first time in over six months.
