Recovering the Remains of Muslim Wakf Desecrations

Over recent years, the Wakf Authority has removed tons of dirt from Jerusalem’s Temple Mount, illegally, resulting in what Israel Antiquities Authority experts termed the worst destruction to the Mount since the destruction of the Second Temple.

Volunteers are being sought to sift through rubble that was removed from the Temple Mount by the Wakf in the hope of recovering artifacts dating back to the Temple era.

The work will be supervised by a team of archeologists from Bar Ilan University, organizers report, adding persons without any prior experience are qualified to assist in the effort.
