Ronald Reagan, our President and great crusader who devoted his presidency to winning the Cold War, trying to scale back government and making people believe it was "morning again in America," died Saturday after a long struggle with Alzheimer's disease. He was 93.
As someone with a parent cursed with Alzheimer's, I express my heartfelt condolences to the Reagan family. May G-d Bless you and comfort you in your loss.

Update:
Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address is no doubt the most eloquent testimonial to the courage of American soldiers ever penned by a U.S. president. But Ronald Reagan's words on June 6, 1984, the 40th anniversary of D-Day, are likewise profound and beautiful. Click here to read his words as he spoke at the World War II Pointe du Hoc Ranger Monument, which overlooks Omaha Beach in Normandy.
