If some Arabs want to call themselves "Palestinians" that is their right. But Israel is under no obligation either to recognize that contrived entity, or to find them a place to live.
Terror is not something one learns to live with. It is something which the Israel and the US governments are obligated to completely destroy. No normal government should sit down and negotiate with murderers.
That is why it was a big joke that President Bush "celebrated" the start of the Muslim holy month with Muslim leaders in the White House. The great Appeasement. When you appease bullies it only makes them bolder. So while Bush reaches out to the Muslim community, let's hope that the Muslim community reaches back without blowing us up.

The disease called Muslim terrorism is mutating. The participation of women in Palestinian terrorism is increasing. Israeli security forces are aware of as many as twenty cases in which women were involved in terrorist activity against Israeli targets. In addition, in response to a warning from Washington that members of al-Qaida could be aboard a ship due in South Korea, Seoul reportedly is boosting security at one of its main ports.

On the November 3, 2000 edition of Newshour, BBC anchorwoman Joanna Buchan hosted Palestinian Dr. Ghada Karmi, associate fellow of the Royal Institute of International Affairs in London. Dr. Karmi asserted that the current clashes between Israel and the Palestinians are not at all fueled by Islam, but are instead strictly a secular movement to gain land.
Although such a view is highly controversial, and much evidence exists to contradict it, BBC did not invite a dissenting guest to balance the conversation. Nor did Buchan herself challenge any of Karmi’s allegations or mention facts which suggest the opposite – such as the calls from Muslim Sheiks to wage holy war, or the Muslim attacks and threats against Jewish (not Israeli) targets across the United States as well as in England, France, Australia and Indonesia. Nor was there any reference to persistent statements from Palestinian leaders denying any Jewish religious connection to holy sites such as the Western Wall, the Temple Mount, Joseph’s Tomb and Rachel’s Tomb.
Beyond the factual problem, the segment was also offensive in its disparaging characterization of Jews and Judaism’s ties to Israel.

An Oxford University Nuffield Professor of Pathology, Andrew Wilkie, who refused to hire an Israeli grad student because of Israel's treatment of the Palestinians has been suspended without pay for two months, the university said Monday.
In June, Wilkie rejected an application from Amit Duvshani, a graduate student at Tel Aviv University, for a post in his laboratory. In an e-mail to the student, Wilkie said he had a "huge problem" with Israel's treatment of the Palestinians.
"I am sure that you are perfectly nice at a personal level, but no way would I take on somebody who had served in the Israeli army," Wilkie wrote.
Seems like Wilkie, who has since resigned, suffers from his own type of pathology: Blatant Jew Hatred; no Cure. Prognosis: Will eventually implode from the shame caused by being a real a-hole.

They confiscated some of the weapons and destroyed the rest.
But when they blew up the initial find, they discovered the larger supply hidden about 5 to 10 feet underground in tunnels and holes. The weapons were all kept next to a mosque.
The Smooth Stone team believes that other hidden caches of weapons and evidence of bio-terror are also inside mosques which is a perfect hiding place, considering "infidels" are forbidden to enter mosques at any time, including U.N. inspectors.
That's convenient, now, isn't it.

If our enemies aren't "true Muslims," why are the "true Muslims" always so offended on their behalf?
James Zogby, [the same Zogby who conducts polls] president of the Arab American Institute, has called for Boykin to be fired. After the 9-11 attacks, Zogby said: "Regardless of who is ultimately found to be responsible for these terrorist murders, no ethnic or religious community should be treated as suspect and collectively blamed." But apparently they are collectively offended. They might want to think through the implications of that. If we have to apologize for the general, then maybe they should apologize for 9-11.

Simultaneous suicide truck-bomb attacks were made on American and French compounds in Beirut, Lebanon. A 12,000-pound bomb destroyed the U.S. compound, killing 242 Americans, while 58 French troops were killed when a 400-pound device destroyed a French base.
Islamic Jihad claimed responsibility.
In the early morning hours of 23 October 1983, a truck loaded with explosives crashed through the security perimeter of the United States Marine Corps Barracks in Beirut, Lebanon. In the explosion that followed, 241 U.S. Military personnel were killed and 80 seriously wounded. These young people, on a mission of peace in a land stricken by violence, were killed as they slept.
Twenty-one (21) of the young American victims of this cowardly act were returned to the United States and were buried near one another in Section 59 of Arlington National Cemetery. Near their gravesites is planted a Cedar of Lebanon tree which commemorates their sacrifice.

Boykin, a top U.S. general in charge of hunting down Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein, is under fire from Muslims and others because of published reports he has told evangelical groups that America is in a war with radical Islam, whose god is an "idol."
This is all in spite of the Los Angeles Times which has noted that Boykin has said publically radical Muslims who resort to terrorism are not representative of the Islamic faith. The paper said he has compared Islamic extremists to "hooded Christians" who terrorized blacks, Catholics, Jews and others from beneath the robes of the Ku Klux Klan.
But now CAIR wants Boykin to be reassigned. CAIR, whose leaders are accused of having ties to Hamas and other radical groups, said it is responding to investigative reports by the Times and NBC News that paint Boykin as an "intolerant extremist who believes that Islam is an idolatrous, sacrilegious religion against which we are waging a holy war." Meanwhile, a former CAIR staffer, Randall Todd "Ismail" Royer, was among 11 men indicted in July for conspiring to train on American soil for a "violent jihad." Another CAIR figure, Bassem Khafagi, was arrested in January while serving as the group's director of community relations.
And the vermin liberal Left in this country are supporting CAIR's position. It's a repugnant position, considering the amoral Left was resoundingly SILENT when Crime Minister Mahathir Mohamad of Malaysia publicly villifed Jews and the Jewish nation last week. Did YOU hear any Muslim reproach the racist comments? Did YOU Hear any liberals rebuke the Jew slander?

The target for Israel's pre-emption was indeed an Islamic Jihad training camp and Israel claims that its intelligence is rock-solid.
Beyond suspicion is this fact that although the White House is in anti-leak mode, U.S. officials let it be known that U.S. satellite surveillance has confirmed the Israeli finding and was the factual basis for President Bush's strong public support for the cross-border strike.
There are widely circulated reports that Syria has offered safe haven and training camps to groups such as the Islamic Jihad, Hamas and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command.
Don't forget too that a majority of the Al Qaeda and Ansar al-Islam terrorists and suicide bombers who have turned up in Iraq have been killers who entered from Syria.
One source of amusement is Syria's current membership on the U.N. Counter-Terrorism Committee.
The U.N. Security Council decided that states are no longer at liberty to serve as a landlord or a supply house in aiding terrorist groups. If you are so sure that "Palestine, the country, goes back through most of recorded history", I expect you to be able to answer a few basic questions about that country of Palestine:
When was it founded and by whom?
What were its borders?
What was its capital?
What were its major cities?
What constituted the basis of its economy?
What was its form of government?
Can you name at least one Palestinian leader before Arafat?
Was Palestine ever recognized by a country whose existence, at that time or now, leaves no room for interpretation?
What was the language of the country of Palestine?
What was the prevalent religion of the country of Palestine?
What was the name of its currency? Choose any date in history and tell what was the approximate exchange rate of the Palestinian monetary unit against the US dollar, German mark, GB pound, Japanese yen, or Chinese yuan on that date.
And, finally, since there is no such country today, what caused its demise and when did it occur?
You are lamenting the "low sinking" of a "once proud" nation. Please tell me, when exactly was that "nation" proud and what was it so proud of?
And here is the least sarcastic question of all: If the people you mistakenly call "Palestinians" are anything but generic Arabs collected from all over -- or thrown out of -- the Arab world, if they really have a genuine ethnic identity that gives them right for self-determination, why did they never try to become independent until Arabs suffered their devastating defeat in the Six Day War?
I hope you avoid the temptation to trace the modern day "Palestinians" to the Biblical Philistines: substituting etymology for history won't work here.

Having time and again failed to achieve their evil goal with military means, they decided to fight Israel by proxy. For that purpose, they created a terrorist organization, cynically called it "the Palestinian people" and installed it in Gaza, Judea, and Samaria. How else can you explain the refusal by Jordan and Egypt to unconditionally accept back the "West Bank" and Gaza, respectively?
The fact is, Arabs populating Gaza, Judea, and Samaria have much less claim to nationhood than that Indian tribe that successfully emerged in Connecticut with the purpose of starting a tax-exempt casino: at least that tribe had a constructive goal that motivated them. The so called "Palestinians" have only one motivation: the destruction of Israel, and in my book that is not sufficient to consider them a nation" -- or anything else except what they really are: a terrorist organization that will one day be dismantled.
In fact, there is only one way to achieve peace in the Middle East. Arab countries must acknowledge and accept their defeat in their war against Israel and, as the losing side should, pay Israel reparations for the more than 50 years of devastation they have visited on it. The most appropriate form of such reparations would be the removal of their terrorist organization from the land of Israel and accepting Israel's ancient sovereignty over Gaza, Judea, and Samaria.

What occupation, stupid? The correct term is "disputed" territories.
The Palestinians' repugnant attempts to justify terrorism, their murder of noncombatants, women and children, their crimes against humanity, by repeating the meaningless catch words: occupation, occupation, occupation, should be met with cries of terrorism, terrorism, terrorism.

Smuggling, Tunnels, Denial, Oh My!
More than 40 Taliban militants escaped from a southern Afghanistan prison by digging a 30-foot-long tunnel and with apparent help from officials, regional leaders said Saturday.
Ah, "tunnel". An old buzzword. This brings me to want to discuss the smuggling tunnels that Israel tried to penetrate yesterday while the real criminals, the "Palestinians", villified Israel for trying to destroy them.
Just think back when, under the premiership of Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel opened an exit to an already existing tunnel by the Western Wall. It caused a riot by the local Arabs and was condemned worldwide.
The world has already forgotten all about the Palestinian Authority's failed attempt to smuggle 50 tons of Iranian-supplied weapons and explosives into Gaza on board the Karine A.
The world has also forgotten all about how Palestinians smuggle suicide bombers in ambulances.
And that State Department officials have said that Hizbullah smuggles cocaine from Latin America to Europe and the Middle East.
And that Arafat, while a student on campus, helped to smuggle firearms and explosives into Israel and its surrounding regions and as a direct result of that, in 1959, established the Fatah movement, whose major objective was to destroy the state of Israel.
The world is inured to the phrase "Palestinian gunman" which has become such a staple of Middle East coverage that everyone seems to have forgotten that the category has been illegal since Sept. 13, 1993, when Arafat and Yitzhak Rabin signed the Oslo peace agreement at the White House. That document says (in Article XIV, Paragraph 4) that no one other than the Palestinian police force and Israeli military may "manufacture, sell, acquire, possess, import or otherwise introduce into the West Bank or the Gaza Strip any firearms, ammunition, weapons, explosives, gunpowder or any related equipment." There is no evidence that the Palestinian Authority has ever enforced it.
What's more, the widespread presence of guns in Palestinian territories doesn't just prove that the PA failed to control the weapons Oslo allowed it to have—it also settles the question the Karine A raised by making it clear that the PA is intimately involved in smuggling weapons and at least knowingly looks the other way. Under Oslo, the Israelis did give the PA police force 15,000 Kalyshnikovs. Under Oslo, every M-16 you see in Palestinian hands is illegal.
Now about those smuggling tunnels; the IDF has frequently uncovered and destroyed Palestinian tunnels constructed at the Egypt-Israel border in the Rafah area of the Gaza Strip. These tunnels are used to smuggle weapons, cigarettes, drugs, and people (primarily prostitutes) from Egypt into Gaza. The Rafah tunnels are typically dug inside residential homes, and are concealed under bathrooms, living rooms, and bedrooms.
On October 12, 2001, two tunnel entrances were discovered inside a child's bedroom. Another such tunnel was uncovered on September 12, 2002.
But none of this matters.
What we do know is that the appearance of modern assault weapons used by Palestinians to gun down innocent Jewish men, women, children and infants, isn't just a main cause of concern — it is indicative evidence of smuggling and confirms, again, the righteousness with which Israel defends itself.

When the Jews left Egypt and began wandering in the barren desert, they were unarmed, unprotected, and left vulnerable to the elements of wind, cold, bandits and animals. Since they were constantly travelling, God instructed them to build flimsy, temporary booths -- called Sukkot.
These hardly provided any protection from the elements. Yet the Jews learned a profound lesson: Safety and security does not come through thick walls and burglar alarms, but ultimately through trust and reliance in God.

Seven thousand righteous pro-Israel students and supporters stood up against the taunts of a much smaller crowd of pro-Palestinian demonstrators gathered across the street during a Thursday night pro-Israel rally at Rutgers University.

Why the "Fence" doesn't make any sense
1. If it is true that the fence will limit penetration into the “other side” then it will turn the lives of the 200,000 Jews who remain on the “wrong side” into a living hell, and into an inferno that will make the Warsaw ghetto look like children’s play.
2. From the “Arab side of the fence” Katyushas and Kassams will be launched constantly on Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Netanyah, and Afula just as they are presently launched over the fence separating Gaza from “southern Israel”.
3. “Arab Israelis” will continue to intensify their terror campaign on the “Israeli side of the fence”, demanding autonomy and statehood in the Negev and in the Galilee.
4. The cost of the fence will result in billions of dollars that could be used much more effectively to fight Arab terror.

Arabs have been killing Jews since as early as 1882
We've often heard the ludicrous claim that Zionists introduced terrorism into the Middle East. However, this cannot be substantiated by the facts. Arabs in then-Palestine attacked and terrorized Jews and their villages for 39 years before any sort of organized Jewish defense responded. From 1882 to 1921, Jewish villages were attacked and Jews were murdered.
And keep in mind that this started 35 years before the Balfour Declaration. Clearly the problem is not Zionism, but rather, reactionary xenophobia toward the Jews by an intolerant dominant ethnic group. Can you guess which group?
The following Jewish villages (listed from north to south) were attacked by Arabs between 1882 and 1914:
Sejera, Kinneret, Yavniel, Degania, Merhavia, Hadera, Petakh Tikvah, Ben Shemen, Ness Tziona, Rehovot, and Gedera.
By 1920 to 1921 the attacks were more frequent and more organized. In March, 1920 an armed band of Arab irregulars from the village of Halsa attacked the Jewish village of Tel Hai killing eight Jews.
Also attacked in March and April were the Jewish villages of:
Ayelet Hashachar, Mashmar Hayarden, Mahanyim and Rosh Pina in the upper Galilee, and Sharona Menahamiya, Kfar Tavor and Degania in the lower Galilee.
Kinneret was attacked first in March and then again in April, causing an emergency meeting to be held in June to decide on how to defend against Arab attacks. It was decided to set up a defense force which they called the Haganah.
Attacks on Metulla, Hamara, and Kfar Giladi in 1920 forced the evacuation of those villages.
On April 25 the village of Bnei Yehuda was attacked, driving out all the inhabitants, who were forced to abandon the village. Bnei Yehuda was never rebuilt. And it wasn't the Jews who began to destroy villages and attempt to expunge "the other" from the area.
In May of 1921 bands of Arab irregulars attacked the Jewish neighborhoods of Haifa, Hadera, Jaffa, Petah Tikva, and Rehovot.
In November, 1921 the Haganah repelled an Arab attack on the Jewish quarter of Jerusalem.
So much for "occupation" being a root cause of Muslim terrorism.

Edward Said, dead.
Edward Said is dead. He was called a scholar. A man who was a professional liar was not a major scholar, certainly about the Middle East, which was not his field and about which his major lies were created, like his fake refugee childhood.
Said mourned his "beautiful" house in Jerusalem from which his family was supposedly thrown out in '48, but there is only one problem: Said grew up in Cairo, the son of an American father who owned a very lucrative office supply company. He was driven around with chauffeurs, attended the best private schools. He never even set foot in Jerusalem his entire childhood.
Said was a cheap intellectual fraud, and a rock-throwing thug, no better than the murderous rioters now besieging Israel and carrying out pogroms.

Animal kills 19 Humans at Israeli Restaurant
A female "Palestinian" homicide bomber walked into a popular restaurant in the northern Israeli city of Haifa today, and detonated a device that killed at least 19 people including three children, one a baby just a few months old.
