Convicted U.S. Terrorist Concerned Over Jewish Judge

Fawzi Mustapha Assi, a Muslim on trial for - what else - terrorism in America, doesn't want a Jewish judge to preside over his case. Ain't it great to live in America and make racist demands? From Convicted U.S. Terrorist Concerned Over Jewish Judge:

U.S. District Judge Gerald E. Rosen rejected Fawzi Mustapha Assi's request that the judge remove himself from the terrorism case because he is Jewish. Assi, 48, a former resident of Dearborn, Mich., was arrested in 1998 when he tried to board a plane to Lebanon with visual and navigational equipment for Hizbullah, and he pleaded guilty in November 2007. He addressed the court Monday against the advice of his attorney, saying he heard rumors that Judge Rosen is a Zionist and might have pro-Israel sympathies.

Rosen said the court "has bent over backwards" to ensure fairness.
