Muslims make Holocaust museum solidarity appearance

Washington-area Muslim leaders are meeting at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum to encourage people to learn its lessons. “Muslim leaders will call for remembrance of the victims of the horrific Holocaust and commemoration of the struggles endured by the brave survivors,” said a statement from the All-Dulles Area Muslim Society announcing the appearance, which is to take place Wednesday. “They will encourage humanity to take the lessons of this tragedy to reaffirm our commitment to preserving human dignity and life for all times.” The appearance comes in reaction to last week’s Holocaust denial conference in Tehran.
