War games designed to intercept ships carrying weapons of mass destruction begin Monday in the Persian Gulf opposite Iran. Australia, France, Italy, the UK, the U.S., and Bahrain are providing vessels and other assets, while Kuwait, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates are sending observers. The exercise comes as the U.S. seeks to counter Iran's growing influence in the region by promoting a new "strategic partnership" with the Gulf states.
I don't see how these Gulf states can be trusted. I would suppose the Gulf states vessels would be laden with spy technology to see exactly what technology the Americans and the other infidels employ on their ships - but, then again I am sure that our guys have thought about that too.
