Great quote. Don't know if this is true, but the story goes that in an interview, General Norman Schwartzkopf was asked if he thought there was room for forgiveness toward Hizbollah, and the General said, " I believe that forgiving Hizbollah is God's function. The Israeli's job is to arrange the meeting."

Update: According to Snopes.com, General Norman Schwartzkopf did not say this, but, the sentiment remains.
